I purchased this item to be installed on a S&W Sport M&P15 that did not have a dust cover, or forward assist. I also purchased an armorers tool, and an upper receiver vice block to be used when changing out the upper receiver. Everything went well, and the fit is perfect.

Arrived quickly, BCG and barrel assembled without am issue. Have not been able to test due to weather.
