Bought this for my Aero Precision M5 based rifle I am building. The finish is as expected and the door fit perfectly. The only problem I had and the sole reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had to file down the mounting pin a bit because it was about 1/32" to long. This little bit just did not let me get the handguard tight to the upper. But I would still buy again and highly recommend.

Not to much you can say other than its a cover and does what its supposed to. Aero precision makes great stuff and this is no exception. Price is fair, some are cheaper but you know this will work if you have an M5 upper. Installs just like any other mill spec port cover with no issues.

Wow !!! This Was One Of The Worst I Have Seen,It Was All Bent, Finish was Bad Almost None Existent,, There Is Know Way Aero Precision Made These Parts, They Have Had To Have Outsourced From China, Finish Looked used And Burnt, I Straightened it And Painted It (Because Its takes To Long For A Return And Replacement Any More)!!!! Aero Parts Are Very Good, But Not These, (Also The Forward Assist Was The Same) (Does Not Match Areo Upper) Properly

Came with my Aero upper. Cover is going in the trash due to new-in-box scuffs and scratches. Not nearly the same quality finish as the upper itself. Aero obviously doesn't make these themselves, they buy in bulk, and they picked a bad supplier.

A perfect fit and function of the port itself. Minor adjustments (trimming) of the dust cover rod if used on a Live Free Armory Receiver.

Brand new looks fine spring does what it’s suppose to but the door will not close if I put pressure on the pin with my fingernail it will close .im sure I could get it to work if I start filing but isn’t the idea that parts are suppose to fit and function new out of the box ……
