This thing is just absolutely freaking beautiful! I cannot wait to take it out and shoot it again. It's very nice feeling on the hands when shooting and my wife doesn't want me to return it so this is just fantastic.

Very good fit and finish. The mounting system is unique and very easy to mount directly to the upper receiver. The handguard makes no contact with the barrel at all and supposedly helps with accuracy.

Very solid handguard. Mounted on an Aero M5 enhanced upper. Will also fit the standard M5 upper with a bar barrel nut. Hand guard is very snug with no deflection from attached bipod I put on. FDE finish matches the upper perfectly.

This is a great part, very well made and matched my Aero Precision Upper perfectly.Only negative is Optics Planet Does not note that the handguard doesn't include a barrel nut, I've never found this on others products, there should be a note on their site.If the nut is available buy it or order the entire product item at Aero Precision.

Please note that you need an M5 upper or an adapter for this rail to work. Comes with small torx mounting screws. It's the quality you would expect from Aero. I plan on building a second upper in 6.5 and will use an M5E upper with this rail.

Solid lock up and great finish. Very easy to install. I’m using this rail to build an 18 inch 6.5 creedmoor for hunting coyotes and shooting steel at the range. I look forward to getting to the range and testing out.
