Installed the mid length hand guard on a M&P 15 sport installation was easy. Finish was a little rough. Barrel nut is aluminum not a fan of that. Top of the rail on hand guard is a little lower than the upper receiver. Still able to adjust front sight in. As far as function it does what it is intended to do. For the price do not think you are getting the same quality as other manufacturers. Remember the price point and you shouldn't be disappointed.

I knew next to nothing about ar's but after a little research and common sense I found it extremely simple and easy to do provided you have the right tools. You will need an armorer's tool/barrel nut wrench and a vice to equip this rail. I've heard complaints about the barrel nut being aluminum. I don't really see the problem. For the price, it's definitely a nice rail for a budget build and would absolutely recommend it to someone else looking to upgrade their ar on a budget.

This is my go to product for my builds. Very affordable and fits just about any application.High quality and sturdy. A great value. I particularly like the barrel nut. It allows for easy alignment of the gas tube and the quad rail.

Purchased this handguard for a 4.5” 9mm upper. It fit okay and seemed sturdy enough. Cracked a piece of the barrel nut off while mounting. Should have stopped there.Torqued the barrel on and dry fired it over a few days. Within that time, the barrel had came loose so I removed it, degreased the threads and applied some Rocksett. After a day or two same thing happened. There’s too much slop in the threads for Rocksett or red Locitite to get a good bond. Don’t waste your time or money.

Threads are soo loose (NOT Matched) that the rail will skip over a thread or two when rail is bumped sideways. 0.019" difference between male and female OD vs. ID at the barrel nut rail engagement. China wants you to have inferior equipment, intentionally built this way to render your weapon inoperable during a real fire fight.

Price was great and the shipping was very fast but it was not really a matte color and had too much shine on the Finish but as far as always goes it's not bad for the price you pay just expect to you probably have to repaint or deal with the extra gloss
