The first time I purchased this item it came disassembled and poorly wrapped up in bubblewrap and with incorrectly tempered parts that broke almost immediately. I returned it for an exchange and the second one came in a professional looking box and fully assembled. Much happier with the results the second time around.

Was looking at this item on the makers site and it was more, even after they gave a discount. Ordered from optics planet and saved money. Item arrived in perfect condition. Fits on the upper well with no issues. (Fyi) if you buy this and looking for the barrel nut its already installed and can be pulled out so you can install on your upper.

I have no idea who signed off on this design but the mounting system used utilizes a rod that's 4.7mm in diameter that has two 4mm threaded holes in it. That leaves a total of 0.7mm worth of material causing a critical failure point and makes it nearly impossible to torque down to spec. Literally all they needed was to thread the holes in the actual handguard like a lot of other companies do. Very dissapointed.
