Coated bolt carrier group (full auto version) for AR15, M16, or M4 machined from Mil-Spec 8620 aircraft quality steel with shrouded firing pin and Mil-Spec chrome lined interior. BCG includes the proper chrome lined and heat treated gas key. Gas key is secured to carrier with Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked per Mil-Specs. This ensures a strong staking and proper gas system functioning. The bolt assembly is CNC machined from Mil-Spec Carpenter No. 158 steel and shot peened for increased strength per Mil-Spec; includes tool steel extractor with spring and viton O-ring; firing pin chromed finished with firing pin retaining pin and cam pin. HPT (High Pressure Batch Tested) and MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected). This BCG is heaven for lefties. I have a black rain ordinance bcg too, but the gas key of the bcg chipped on that one and black rain ordinance didn’t even respond. Not that it affects the function but l wanted to put it out there. On the other hand cryptic BCG is unparalleled for a leftie or a rightie. I have fed it the most ridiculous cheap ammo and various grains-in many thousands-, it didn’t even cough. I am a customer for life.

I purchased this late 2023, the one I received is mostly brown and is very disappointing in comparison to the picture. The product functions extremely well, but looks nothing like this picture. I have reached out to cryptic coatings and they are improving the coating and willing to replace mine directly but the one I'm supposed to receive still is very disappointing. By the end of 2024 it sounds like they'll have it together. All of the other colors are phenomenal just not this dragons breath. I have the gold and the bronze version and they are beautiful.
