One thing about Daniel Defense products is that if you've never handled one before when you first hold one of their barrels , receivers, or BCGs you can feel that their quality products. The same is true with their charging handles. I've never paid more than $20 before for a charging handle but this one feels solid , no easily bendable like the cheap ones. The clasp smoothly unlocks and the bolt carrier seems easier to manipulate using this charging handle. I can't tell someone it's worth $100 , but if you're building a Daniel Defense upper receiver group , I think it's worth the money.

I currently have two DD charging handles on two different caliber rifles. I personally prefer Radian Raptor handles, but these are just as good. If you are looking for something a little smoother with less flair, the DD Charging Handle is a great choice, although it’s nothing Super Special and like everything DD… Its priced at a Premium. That said, they have both worked flawlessly on my 5.56 and 9mm Build. Super Ergonomic, Ambidextrous, lightweight and tough as nails.

Charging handle looks good, has good purchase in the mitts and feels robust like I could use it like a hammer to hang all my wife’s pictures and decorations in the house and not miss a beat. Only purchased to finish off a DD build. I, in good conscience, could not recommend someone spend $100 for a CH.

Can tell its built for durability for sure, definitely better made and more user friendly to use than a standard mil spec CG. Worth the money for sure.

I am very dissatisfied with this DD CH. Action of release lever is stiff and very gritty. Returned and went back to a Geissele, which has a smooth action when levers are pulled.

When I SBR'ed my DD rifle, I decided to go with a 12.5" DD barrel along with this DD Grip-N-Rip chargig handle. I haven't yet shot my rifle with a suppressor (hopefully soon), but it feels great shooting unsuppressed. This charging handle, like other Daniel Defense gun parts, looks awesome in a serious, understated sort of way that will apeal to some people. With all the flashy stuff available, it's sometimes nice to just go with a traditional and clearly high-quality item like this. I would recommend this product.
