So far, this has been a great BCG. The finish is not as supper bright and shiny as say Nib from POF, which is risiculously slick and in my experience does not discolor. I've had no failures of any kind. I've been using this in rifle with a mid length gas system. I've put at least a thousand rounds on the BCG. It's easier to clean than a parkerized BCG for sure, but it doesnt seem any easier than some of the nitride BCGs ive been using. The price i got it for was no different than nitride, but far cheaper than other nickel boron BCGs. What others have said about it changing cors is true. Mine is certainly darker than when i first got it. If its cheap id buy it again. Im curious about the Aero Nickel Borin BCG though. If i buy another, it'll probably ve rhat ine.

The name says it all “FAIL ZERO” and it’s true to form… The Fail Zero BCG is by far my favorite go to for any AR build… The finish is very durable and very slick which saves on wear and tear with your upper receiver… The price is very competitive for such a high end BCG… i’m tried out many different BCG’s and I always find myself going back to FAIL ZERO…

I’ve only shot a few hundred rounds so far but this bcg works great. The nickel boron coating is very easy to clean and requires minimal lubricant. It also disassembles very easily for quick and easy cleaning. Highly recommended

Ive put thousands of supressed rounds in everything from 198 silverback 300 to 458 socom out of these carriers and never had a problem. They always run dry no clp only clean em when something starts to mess up. For the money how can anybody complain about these bcgs unless they get a rare factory lemon
Just some dude. –
This bcg is a great find at the price. Remember this is EXO nickel boron with with a black coating applied over that wears off on contact points. I think it looks cool as it brakes in, but some might get bent that it loses its prettiness. The gas key has been properly staked and runs well with all the ammo I threw at it. Dont consider buying if you worry about form over function. I will buy again

I have one of these in my AR-15. I used a BCM extractor upgrade kit, and a milspec hammer spring (not sure if nessessary), but my AR-15 eats steel like it was brass. I shoot brass and Wolf steel loads with no problems/ ftf. These things are solid. They are also very easy to clean. Keep in mind that nickel does have a tendency to stain after a while. Diamond metal polish will remove the staining, but i dont think its worth it personally. It still maintains the same lubricity and function, stained or not.
