Perfect for any rail system, these ultra-low profile gas blocks are the ideal companion for Faxon Firearms (or any other) barrels with a standard diameter gas journal. Made from high-strength steel, all our gas blocks are a matching black luster to our barrels. For lightweight builds, the block is drilled through the middle of the profile. The gas block clamps on to the barrel using 3 Allen keys on the bottom of the block. *Faxon Firearms highly recommends the use of Loc-Tite or similar thread-locking compounds. Gas blocks will get very hot, so pick a compound according to your intended use of the firearm. This worked out perfect for a Bushmaster QRC pencil barrel while helping to keep the weight down. The finish is nice and looks fine. The three screws really help keep this gas block locked in place. I like many of the Faxon products. Recommended!

Assembled onto a Faxon 14.5” 5.56 pencil barrel. Advice: this gas block is very delicate, due to its thin, lightweight construction. Put it on a barrel before you go clamping it in a Vice to install the gas tube pin.

Installed the Faxon gas block on a Faxon Gunner barrel and the fit was perfect. The gas port lined up with the one in the block when the block was up against the cut ledge nearby.Would I buy again? YES!

Bought a Faxon Gunner Barrel from Rainer Arms and they sold me a different brand Gas Block which didn’t fit well – gas hole was partially covered and loose fit on barrel. Ordered Faxon Gas Block, tight tolerance fit and 3 Set Screws. I dimpled barrel, torqued with Rockset.

These gas blocks just plain work and they look pretty good too! I generally use faxon or ballistic advantage barrels because they are always gassed just right where all you need to do is tune with the spring instead.

At first glance this looks like every other gas block around. It is not- it's way better for a number of reasons. First, the side cutout reduces not only weight but friction when you are installing it, esp if you have a tight fit to the barrel. Second, it has three set screws, which I really like. The other detail which probably gets overlooked is that if you look at the gas tube roll pin hole, you'll notice that the edges are beveled. If you've ever installed a stubborn gas tube pin you can really appreciate this seemingly minor detail. I've used all kinds, and while I am inclined to Geissele all the things, this Faxon block is my go-to.
