The hand guard is constructed of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and finished with an optional Mil-Spec type III hard coat black anodizing.The MLS has a precision bore to fit the proprietary barrel nutwhich removes any unwanted play and ensures an exact fit! Installation requires a 1-5/16in crows foot wrench (not included) for the barrel nut; standard AR-10 barrel nut wrenches will not work with this hand guard system. This handguard is exactly what i wanted and at a reasonable price! It's extremely solid, but not overly heavy. It was very easy to install and looks great! I have yet to attach any m-lok accessories, but the machining looks excellent and i expect zero issues. I will definitely use this company for future builds!

Fit my aero m5 great. The anodizing is slightly lighter then aero, but my areo receiver was dripping oil when it was shipped, after handling both a bit it is barely noticeable. Jl billet does nice work, period
