fits very nice and very firm for a longer handguard , had to go with a tube style with my dpms sportical 308 and wasn't sure how I'd like one with out a rail the height of an upper but this looks good and am very pleased

this hand guard installed easily enough. it's a vast improvement over the standard hand guard. i very much like the tube design, both to handle and aesthetically. i especially like the 4 screws that allow you to 'tune' the angle, so to speak. this means you can adjust the tube just enough to get it centered over the barrel. looks great, and i would buy it again.

Not a fan of the install procedure but overall an excellent product.. way more ridged than my jl billet.. also the rail accessories ar too expensive.. would recommend this product to anyone.. I'm hard to satisfy and overall I'm satisfied!

Gives my rifle a tubular sleek style and it's very light too. Replaced it instead of the stock plastic hand guard and this gives a lot of clearance for the gas block. It's hard finding a hand guard for the high rise dpms sportical but a nice aluminum jp hand guard fit it perfect.

I recently purchased this JP handguard for a AR308 build I was doing. After watching a few videos online on how to install this handguard I installed it as I went along with the video. My first impression was I was shocked how light this 17.25" handguard was. Im also not a fan of a continues picatinny rail which this handguard has no picatinny rail. Also happy that my SLR gasblock tucked right inside with no clearance issues. When I tightened the set screws the handguard was not going anywhere.. Once I completed my upper and attached my lower receiver I amazed just how naturally comfortable this handguard is. The handguard also has a textured feel unlike most handguards out there which are smooth, my forehand doesn't slide when shooting.
