Instead of .750 it was almost .800. Causing massive gas leak resulting in short stroking. Switched to an lbz and worked flawless. Poor quality all around,…………………………………………

I wasn't expecting much based on the price and the reviews on this site, but I really needed to fix an over-gassed problem on a 350 Legend. It's bad enough when your 5.56 is spitting brass out past the firing line, (I don't mind losing a few casings), but 350 Legend brass is way harder to come by and this thing was kicking like a mule and was really beating up the brass I did recover. The gas blocks I received, (I ordered 2 to get to the free shipping point), looked good and all the set screws and roll pin fit well. The block fit the gas block journal perfectly. I like the solid, round handguards and adjustable gas blocks on my target rifles, (a .20 Practical, a 6x45mm and a 223), so I always buy handguards short enough to expose the adjustable gas blocks. This 350 Legend is a deer rifle and I had originally installed a standard low profile gas block under a very long handguard, so I just left the handguard off after Installing the adjustable gas block. At the range it took 6 rounds to get the adjustments just right to give me a nice 4:00 ejection. Now, the brass ends up in a small area well behind the line, the casings aren't dented, and the recoil is very noticeably reduced. I could have spent more on a different gas block with a cool logo laser etched on the side, but now I can use the money I saved to buy more powder, or primers, or maybe even beer.

I bought this for my 6.5 grendel. Prior to installing this, it wouldn't eject a shell casing. Stove pipes 100% of the time. Installed this and the stove pipe issue stopped immediately, but it wasn't loading round. Gave it two + rotations and viola perfect 3:00 to 4:00 ejections and loads round every time!!!!!

Good piece if you are a machinist, need to remove 1/4" of the threads on screw end, just to reach the port. Or a bottom tap with small shank would work. Size(3/4") is good so should fit the barrel.

The adjustment is on the side which will prob be blocked by the hand guard like on mine. So adjusting on the range is limited. Doesn’t come with hex to make adjustments

Can’t beat the price. Haven’t used it yet but it seems better than the kaw valley one I just returned and it’s $10 cheaper.
