Excellent price, and great fast shipping. The product itself is fantastic. Exactly what I wanted and amazing build quality. A buddy of mine recommended Midwest handguards to me and I have to say, it was a good recommendation. Thanks Midwest, and thanks OpticsPlanet!

Ive had probably a dozen different quad rails on as many rifles over the years and this one is right up there with knights armament quad rails when it comes to quality but far superior when it comes to weight. I love it.

I have nothing but good things to say about this rail. Inexpensive, light, kac rail covers lock into it, and it is 100% solid. Don’t go for a no name rail like I did before this one. Buy once cry once. For $170 you can’t beat it. Put something nice on your rifle. Buy a Midwest industries. Next us is going to be a 10’’ one for the ar pistol.

I was initially looking at a Daniel Defense DDM4 rail for a build, but opted with this rail due to price. This is an outstanding handguard. The fit and finish are perfect and you do not have to time the barrel nut for a gas tube. Very solid rail, actually all of Midwest Industries handguards are awesome.

So I’ve been using mlok on most of my builds but I was trying to do a mk12 “style” build this time around. First of all, let’s talk about esthetics. MI has everything going for them. They are super easy to install, well constructed, and just look super good. Now let’s talk about the design. I went away from quad rails, like most people because of their bulk and weight. This is not the case with this. It still has all four rails but the inner diameter is super slender. More in line with how slimline mlok and keymod rails are. So because it’s slimline and they drilled tones of holes through the top rail, its super light. Like, super light. So if you are looking to go back to the classics but don’t want any of the cons, just get this rail.

I am personally a huge fan of the quad rail despite lighter mlok options; however, choices are relatively slim. I debated back and forth between paying $300-500 for a Geissele or DD rail and decided to take a leap of faith on this one. I have no regrets, NONE! This hand guard is of premium quality and after looking at it and a DD side by side…. i have to say the the cost difference is only in the advertising. If you're looking for a quality product but need to spend some of your cash elsewhere on rifle upgrades, go with this option and it won't let you down.
