Good replacement for the stock slimline handguard for my PTR 32 KFR. M-lok attachment points bring the gun mostly up to date. Also for extended strings of fire, this handguard has much better heat dissipation than the slimline. Overall would still recommend even if you don't plan to put any attachments on it.

This is a very well made aluminum handguard. It is slender and grippy which makes handling my heavy PTarb91 a lot easier. The M-Lok holes bring my old PTR into 2020 allowing me to attach whatever I want.

Bought this mainly to allow better barrel cooling on my old Hk91. Saved a lot of weight ditching the wide body plastic handguard and factory steel bipod for this piece and the Midwest Industries M-Loc Harris bipod mount.Fit, finish, and hand feel of the aluminum rail is excellent. The hard anodized finish is just the ticket for durability.Only gripe is that I have the factory carrying handle installed and I wasn’t going to take it off. This requires some cutting of the rail with a steady hand, Dremel grinder, cut-off wheel, and pair of calipers. I guess it makes sense to design it for the 95% of guns that don’t have a handle. Turned out well, but it was a risky chance for serious cosmetic damage.I would recommend this rail to modernize your vintage Hk platform, and it is removable to not alter the rifle’s value. Tip, use a low strength loctite thread locking compound if you want to switch handguards back and forth.

This provides just the right grip for my hands as well as plenty of slots for cooling. Only complaint is that I think it is a little over priced.
