I purchased the Odin Works 12-1/2 inch M-LOK forend to go with the Odin Works 18 inch 22 Nosler barrel. I chose the 12-1/2 inch length, because I wanted easy access to the adjustable gas block without having to keep an extra long allen wrench. With the rifle length gas tube, the forend leaves the gas block and approximately 1/2 inch of gas tube exposed, but I think that the gas tube is protected well enough from damage. Therefore, I am satisfied with the length. The forend feels great in the hand, and has ample room for any and all attachments.I would definitely buy the unit again, and would recommend it to other.

I bought this product because I needed a forend with a large enough inside diameter to accommodate a suppressor I was placing on a SBR build I was making. I could not believe how light the Odin forend was especially installed. There was plenty of room to accommodate a 45 TIRANT suppressor. The forend seemed to be well made with great craftsmanship and there is no significant bend at all when placed under significant strain. One added benefit is that the vents are a bit wide compared to the aluminum structure so it seems to give a better grip surface than expected. The only down side was I thought the proprietary barrel nut system could have been a little easier to use. They supply a solid metal piece to place in the gas tube opening for alignment while tightening the nut but the piece is difficult to remove secondary to the torque placed on it after it is tightened. So it took a little fiddling but otherwise this is a great product and I would definitely buy one again

well built, finish was great and it came with barrel nut that didn't require a special tool, along with attachment screws very professionally done. Would not histate to purchase other goods from ODIN. The person that I spoke to on the phone was very professional.

Great looking 308 rail for a reasonable price. Looks different from most other free float rails. Good barrel nut lockup. If you have Aeroprecision 308 upper, you'll need to order the high version as another reviewer posted. .206 rise. This is only the barrel nut the rail is the same. Optics Planet has the .206 high version that I ordered from them.

This was the 15.5 inch hand guard, not the ultra light. This handguard looks very nice and feels good to my hands. No problems mounting, fit is good. Not real crazy about the way the barrel nut attaches and times but this is Odins way, we will see. Overall it is good, would purchase again.

I have multiple rifles, all are equipped with either this forend or the O2 lite. I have not found a thing to complain about with any of them. I see a lot of reviewers complaining about the barrel nut system…..Don’t let them sway you from buying it. Anyone who has trouble getting this thing installed correctly doesn’t have any business doing it and should just take it to someone with some experience rather than throw shade. The barrel nut system they use is, in my opinion, the best out there and I hope they never change it. As others have mentioned, the clearance allowed for muzzle end devices and the rock solid construction make it my go to. You won’t go wrong buying this forend. If you have reservations about the installation, buy it anyway and pay a buddy who has actually touched a wrench to do it. You won’t be sorry.
