Direct drop in replacement easy to install do not need rail covers not sharp like metal lighter weight and can put a sling swivel on the bottom other than that this review has to be over 200 characters long and I was adding these to fill information

I purchase this one to replace, not really replace, have a variation of the handguard for my AR 15. This is a very quality one with an inside metal heat reflector and easy to install. This one just gives me more rails to add some cool stuff like laser beams, and flashlight, etc… I really like it. Buy one handguard removal install tool will make the switch over very smooth.

Was looking for inexpensive drop in and this fit perfect. Took longer to clean shipping stuff than install with the screw off delta ring on the 556. Fits snug with no wobble. Appears to line up dead on with upper receiver rail. Now just need to accessorize.

I purchased this to upgrade the BCM M4 style handguard I had on my M&P15 Sport 2 so I could upgrade it into a home defense/SHTF rifle and start adding attachments. It is built solid, fits nice and tight on my rifle with no wobble at all. Unlike many of the all metal quad rails it added little to no extra weight to he front end of the rifle. It has the benifits of having the heat shield, which to me is a must have on polymer handguards after the original handguard that came with the rifle began to melt from the heat of being fired. The Picatinny Rails are standard size. Overall it is a solid made product with an affordable price point the will last for years to come.

If you do get this do definitely get a Delta Ring tool before trying to put this on without one. This is a two person job, trust me! YouTube videos'll show otherwise but when I tried to do this on my own, oh my God I have never struggled so much to put something on (properly of course) on my own. I was sweating, and I was trying so hard to connect them both together that it got to the point where I was shaking and scared I was gonna break something on my AR. I had to call up my local gunshop for assistance after like 30min of me trying on my own, luckily it worked out (because it took me and the clerk). I promise you, do not attempt to put this on on your own or else you'll end up smacking your forehead and sweating and shaking like me. No I don't have issues, but this was giving me issues lol. But hey, once it's on property and one side isn't popping out, it's great. Simply. Because I found out the hard way that this was a two person job (if you do it on your own, again you'll find yourself squeezing and pulling down on your delta ring tool while trying to man handle one piece of your handguard at and awkward angle while the other piece just falls off and repeat and repeat and repeat), doesn't affect how nice of a piece this is. 5 stars.

I was desirous of a carbine-length quadrail for my new Del-Ton AR-15, but wanted something lighter than aluminum, plus something that was easier on the hands. I found both with the Pro Mag Polymer Handguard PM242. It's considerably lighter than traditional aluminum versions, and is less abrasive. My attachments fit securely and accurately on the Picatinny rails, too. No buyer's remorse with this product.
