SAGRS allows the shooter to adjust the gas flow entering the Bolt Carrier Group BCG by an adjustment screw in the gas key, enabling the dwell time to be increased or decreased, as necessary. In addition to virtually eliminating all suppressed blowback, SAGRS can reduce felt recoil when combined with a proper buffer and spring weight. I bought this BCG for a .300 BLK build. The valve comes "valve open" which is important because the shells weren't ejecting properly. With a simple turn of the key, my rifle was humming! It isn't cheap but worth it.
