This thing is a super neat idea if you have to mount a scope in a way that obstructs charging ergonomics. The folding side handle is great and forward retention is done through a ball detent reather than a clip. Now, I don't know if there's a specific receiver it's intended for, but my co-charger stuck. Hard. I backed the tension off the side detent to no avail, then noticed a larger ball detent on the bottom of the rear handle that kept hanging up on the buffer mount. Not seeing a means of adjustment nor the necessity of it, I worked some Dremel magic and removed it. Operation is easier now but it rubs so hard on the right side it's practically sanded all the finish off itself and grabs inside the raceway making charging a very sticky operation requiring a lot more force than it should. I really want to recommend this but I honestly can't if I'm having this much trouble with it before even getting to the range, unless there's SOMETHING I'm doing wrong.

Was exited for this but tried it in 2 ARs and it's too rough to use in both. Too tight of a fit scrapping the handle and receiver. Waste.

I ended up buying the Battle bar, side charger handle and lightning bolt release. Only the lightning bolt release has worked good so far. This company Customer service is garbage. They ignored my email and their phone is not receiving messages. The side charging handle will scrap the side of your upper aswell. It’s not spring loaded so the handle will stay out and snag on your vest or sling. I can’t recommend this company.

I was looking forward to using this piece of gear and it was very difficult to rack the bolt to the rear using the handle attached. I think the company needs to go back and figure out how to properly produce a product that works properly.

I haven't put this through a lot of use yet so I'm unsure of the reliability and durability but my first impressions are that it seems to be of good quality and functions well.
