Very happy with it. Worth the risk! Finish is decent and not too shiny/matte/purple. Perfect for a Cmmg .22 setup and the divot in the 4” is perfect as a C clamp grip. Ok, I guess I need to write a little more.

The was perfect for my 11.5 pistol build with flash can.

Feels sturdy and well made, perfect for my short pistol build. If you want a short handguard for the low this is definitely the one to get. I usually prefer Midwest industries handguards for both the AK and AR but I took a chance with this more economic choice and I’m not disappointed

reviews are like….. I’m kind of a handguard snob but own one of these. For an inexpensive handguard it is good option. Moved to micro gas port build and like most all options you need to cut barrel nut for micro port install, no surprise here and no issue with this install. No barrel nut mod needed with pistol or longer port lengths. Durability and finish have held up as well as $100+ options. Downside to me is no mlok cut on 45 so not my design preference for use with light. Also don’t prefer clamp style handguards but I’ve had zero issues with lockdown. it didn’t scratch any of my milspec upper or lowers. Those scratches are from me or using barrier as rest. IMO – Proceed with purchase if a typical weight to length and lower priced handguard is what you need.

It all fits how it should and aligns right so far. When installing my micro length stainless gas tube, the barrel nut is twice the length it needs to be so the gas tube hits it and wont fit. I need to get a different barrel nut that will fit inside the handguard. So if you plan on buying this, ensure you are using a pistol, mid, or carbine length gas tube. Micro doesn't work.Finish is niceLength works great for my buildDesign seems to work well especially with the M-Lok on it. The lines from my upper align great with the handguard.

It looks fine and everything. It does rub on my lower when i open it up. It scratched my lower which isnt a huge deal but it would have been better if it didnt happen. Overall not super impressed with it.Not bad but not great.
