Hey, this rail is exceptional. Just lock it down. It comes with detailed instructions with pictures in a pamphlet. You can’t mess it up seriously. It fits over an existing mil spec barrel nut. The barrel nut is not supplied with the rail. It is ridiculously lightweight, but rather sturdy. I bought a titanium mil spec barrel nut from VSeven and really wrenched it down to that barrel nut, and it is absolutely solid. My SOCC rail did not come with an antirotation tab that goes against the receiver. But you won’t need it

Make’s a horrible twang sound when flicked just like a tuning fork can’t imagine the sound it will make installed and rifle going into battery or being fired. I’m in the process of trying to return it.

It’s light, solid, never had it shift. Only complaint is that it’s pain to install and you have to buy a M4 barrel nut or already have one. Guy said it was noisy never heard a ring from it while installing make sure to torque evenly as you tighten. Ribbon method is advised.

So the SOCC is actually a really good rail. It attaches directly to the mil spec barrel nut which keeps it lightweight. I bought a titanium mil spec barrel nut from “v seven” just because they are a local company right here where I live. It’s not going to move on you under hard. Use a regular use. Just use blue Loctite torque it down to spec at 35 inch pounds and you’ll be perfectly fine. Make sure you read the instructions to install it. It’s actually super simple though as long as you read the instructions.
