Received this on 19 July 2024. When I took it out of the box I was pleasantly surprised at how light it was. This thing fits so tight. I had to use a dead blow hammer to get it seated. Once installed, this thing rocks!!!!! I installed it on an Ruger AR-556. I am super happy with the quality this is made of and the attention to detail. This will not be rattling or coming loose. Good job UTG. And thank you Optics planet for the super fast shipping and great price.

Very happy with this handguard so far. The fit was perfect on my S&W Sport 2, and the finish matches perfectly. I like the slim profile, and feels good in the hand. Be sure to install the 2 set screws back by the delta ring, as they really do reduce any wobble in the handguard. Made in USA �� which is nice to see! If I had to nitpick, I wish they would have included at least 1 shorter rail section for accessories. Will update after this gets some use on it. Optics Planet was great to work with, highly recommended!

It fits the M&P 15II perfectly! I got a little scared as it looked like it wasn't going to work out but once it is on, you wont want to take it off! I don't have the A-Frame front sight, rather the railed gas block. Despite there being a inch or so gap between the two, it doesn't take away from the rest of it.

Bought a cheap Anderson Manufacturing starter rifle last year with the typical A2 style furniture. Decided I wanted to update it to be a little more modern for M lok attachments and Optics Planet was the only place I could find this drop in handguard and for an amazing price.Pros: Very durable, sturdy, directions are pretty straight forward and it’s made in America baby.Cons: couldn’t find anything I disliked about it, my issue is with the delta ring itself nothing to do with this hand guard.I was skeptical about ordering from Optics Planet because people tend to complain about shipping times (a lot of back order issues from what I’ve read on Reddit) but my order came in faster than expected through USPS and only had to wait 4 days for everything.I’m extremely pleased, packaging was extremely professional, and everything came in the mail quick10/10 optics planet, keep it up!

Another great product from Leapers/UTG. The color matches the S&W AR 15 Sport II The 15 inch guard looks great on the Sport II. I would recommend this inexpensive upgrade. The rail is easy to install and clean. Thank you.
