Fit well and easy to install. Only took a few minutes to get in place. The color matched my gunOverall, I like the texture of the item. It is much better than the stock piece. I would recommend it to anyone

I spent hundreds of dollars in parts, to find out this fits my 5.56!!! It’s even slightly marred the bolt face on my JP 308 from half catching and jamming!! I thought I had a gas or buffer issue. Nope, 5.56 catch in my .308 build. It even came marked and packaged as a .308 part. I should have noticed it didn’t entirely fill the channel, but come on meow.

I installed these on three different lowers; V7 Harbinger, Aero Precision M5 and a PSA PA10 for giggles. Worked perfectly in all three. Buying more as back ups cause you never know. Only downside is it doesn’t come with the spring/plunger.

This is too short and doesn't make contact with the bolt face for the bolt hold open feature. Don't over-tighten the bolt catch pin or it will strip out. Aero's cheap bolt catch pin is a soft chinesium POS. You'll have to go buy a stripped bolt kit and good luck with that. It sits up too close to the receiver and is difficult to remove.Nothing wrong with the V-Seven S7 Bolt Catch. Aero saved money on an important LIFE SAVING gun part that WILL FAIL when you need it to perform.

DOES NOT FIT AERO M5!!! 2 stars because it appears to be well machined and finished. Useless for what I bought it for. If it doesn't fit the M5 its probably not going to work in another AR10 platform. Maybe it will fit a 556.

Because my DPMS lr308 has such a strong spring and heavy bolt I was worried about the integrity of stock bolt catch, I seen this and thought a tool steel bolt catch would have been better than the mim bolt catch that came with it, it was much to my surprise when i compared the two that the new one was so much smaller, then i compared it to my ar 15 bolt catch and they were identical, exactly the same, part number on the package is bcs7308blk
