Fits well on to WC receiver, looks good, no apparent defects. The only complaint is that WC does not supply a wrench, unlike other manufacturers who do provide a wrench with their hand guard. So, add the cost of a WC wrench to the total cost of the hand guard.

This is a nice quality Wilson Combat Rail, however, it is not as pictured. The thicker rail portion at the receiver end does not exist on this product, I believe the photo is of either an older product line, or a lower end product line from Wilson. The Wilson combat webpage shows use of this model of rail on their "Defender" line of rifles. It is easy to install although you will need a large crowfoot wrench (1-1/16" if I recall) for proper installation with a torque wrench.

This Rail is solid. The only draw back was the installation. It was tough to get the rail centered with the barrel nut in using about 30lbs of torque. Other than that, it offers a great feel and look.

The handguard is well made as you would expect from Wilson Combat but the coating is not what you would expect from Wilson Combat. The coating is very dull and thin I have taken this out once to break in and zero from safe to case and back the coating has come off with raw aluminum exposed on a section of the handguard .

I chose this rail to round out a custom wilson combat build. What I am about to say is coming from frustration and may be that I'm used to the higher end rails, but to not include a barrel nut wrench attachment is uncalled for these days. Especially if your rail design do not include anti rotation tabs. I guess the barrel nut is supposed to be tightened down with a wrench but that makes it difficult to get the correct torque. Thethe spacing on the wrench flats is kind thin for the size of wrench that's needed.

The Wilson Combat M-Lok Handguards are my personal favorite. They're smooth along the sides, and do not rough up your hands when not using gloves.I also like the way they attach to the barrel nut and not rely on a clamping force to keep it steady.
