I purchased this due to the last bolt I purchased that was a PSA bolt and having extraction issues with a 300 blackout. Now all I do is buy PSA carriers and fax some bolts and works flawlessly. Great fit and finish and never had an issue so far for my 556 or blackout build probably around 2K rounds apiece but who knows we will see.

Great up until the gas key became loose. 400 rounds and I would expect more from a premium company. I responded to Faxon 3 days ago still waiting for reply. Not happy, definitely the staking is an issue. Very light hits.

Bought a Faxon barrel – forgot to order the bolt. Ordered this, checked the head spacing, and it worked perfectly. Very happy with it and will continue to buy Faxon products. Note – if you are using this with the Adams Arms piston kit, as I did, remember to take off the rings!

These reviews concern me because the reviewer, Dan W., has posted only 1 review. I did not notice this until I found this identical review, copy and pasted, on another sight under the same name. The other reviewer that complained about a loose gas key has also made only that 1 review. I need a bolt to go with another lightweight carrier, so I am going to order this one. I cannot post this review without a yes or no to the recommendation, so I said yes until I have reason to say otherwise, which hopefully will be never.

I was starting to notice my old bolt had high signs of wear and was starting to failure to eject and not properly seating. One of the lugs were even chipped. I decided to just replace with the Faxon bolt only to save some money on a complete BCG. Glad I did. The Faxon bolt from Optics Planet worked flawlessly. Feeding, ejecting, and operation helped my rifle shoot like new again. Very Happy Thank you.
