I have an LR308 chambered in 6.5 creedmore and was having accuracy issues with a 26" Kruger barrel. I was about to swap out the barrel but thought I would try changing hang guards instead. My original accuracy with the old handguard was about 1.5 MOA, and after switching the handguard my accuracy decreased to .75 MOA. I am very pleased with the fit and finish of the JP and guard.

Very impressed with the hand guard it is pretty light weight for a 15 inch hand guard and the quality is very good. The pictures don’t do justice to the craftsmanship of the hand guard. Furthermore it was not to difficult to install and fit perfectly with my tanker arms rifle length gas system. The finish also matches generation1 Noveske upper and lower receivers. Overall I am very pleased with JP and Optics Planet on the purchase.

Some may complain that JP products are pricey but you get what you pay for. This is top quality hand guard. The fit and finish is great, and the Knurled finish is not rough on the hands. And shopping at OpticsPlanet makes it even affordable to own one. Get yourself one, it will make your rifle pop, that’s if you’re for the aesthetics.

It’s a very nice quality handguard. All nicely packaged and all the parts are very well finished I highly recommend it. The only thing that it down mention is that you need a 1 and 3/8 crow foot wrench to install it. The instructions aren’t very clear on that point. Oh it also needs to be set between 40-80 ft lbs of torque

This thing is fantastic. Cant believe i waited this long for one of these. If you have a heavy barreled ar you should have this. The fit and feel of these are unreal. Comes with a bipod swivel so dont purchase seperate.

Love the look and feel of this hand guard. I have it mounted on my 6.5 creedmoor aero AR10 build with a 24” barrel. Only down side is needing the JP proprietary mounting system. Install is easy and straightforward.
