Our proprietary ATLAS attachment system is a durable and dependable mounting platform, maintaining a slim profile while still providing the strength and stability customers have grown to love from Aero Precision handguards. ATLAS The new Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It features 2 mirrored tapered locking nuts that provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut with use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation. By design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system avoids distortion of the handguard often seen with current applications during installation. I pieced together an AR10 with Aero Precision parts and this was the last part I needed. Since they were made by the same company they all fit perfectly! The whole build is very sleek, especially this handguard.

The Aero Precision M5 ATLAS R-ONE M-LOK Handguard is very lightweight, and looks sharp. The integrated qd spots are a nice bonus. It's a nice addition to any Aero Precision build you may be doing and are in need of a nice handguard.

I have w R-ones and an S-one. My favorite handguards thus far. The wedge lock system makes removal for cleaning or whatever a snap. You dont have a half dozen bolts to remove. Sleek design comes easy for it with its minimal bolt intrusion. Locks on super solid. I have never had an issue with these guards or I wouldnt have bought 3 ;).

Id Recommend this Rail to the person with the most tactical components go add on.. wish the rail was Skeletonized on top to make it lighter. Other then that i do like this rail for the flexibility of things you can do with it. As ive customized this for a Tripod with a simple piece of rail added on. Therefote when you wanted to add anything this rail has more to offer then most others on the Market.

Handguard looks and fits great on my M5 reciever. The only issue I had was the barrel nut wrench and barrel nut shims were not included in the mounting hardware as shown in Aero's Install Video. If this happens to you contact Aero Precision customer service.

Bought this hand guard for my AR 10 build. My Upper and Lower were anodized green. The 15 inch were sold out at most dealers. I found it on Optics Planet in anodized green and it was on sale. Looks great with the matching upper and lower
